The north end of the land is woodland. Generally speaking, the fast-growing pine trees are easy to handle as a good building material but are not good firewood. They burn fast but produces less heat than those slow-growing trees' wood. The residents of West Greenwich used to cut pine tree planks to build ships or houses.
There are Cedar trees in the woodland, Cedarwood is the best building material for outdoor deck, roof, and extra-wall shingles.
The woodland also provides organic forest topsoil. You can grow mushroom there if you have the know-how. It is also the feeding ground for the chicken too.
Last but not least, if you need stones to build something, the woodland is your stone quarry. You should have plenty of boulders, handpick stones, etc. from the original farm land boundary wall. You know, stone buildings are one of the symbols of New England for a reason.
